The Adopt an SME Programme offers a holistic approach to running a small business. Before any work is undertaken with an SME they get put through a thorough Statutory, Regulatory and Financial assessment.

This approach not only highlights any shortcomings the SME currently has, but it also brings to the fore any possible risks posed to the corporate that they are servicing. The results of the assessment are used to customise a list of “corrective actions” which are then worked on over the course of the next 12 months.

Over this period of time the SME gains a thorough understanding of all aspects of running their business and the markets that they operate in.

The Adopt an SME Programme’s goal is to create an ecosystem of better managed small businesses.

This ecosystem while initially limited to the corporations sponsoring the chosen SME’s would eventually grow to become a pool of verifiable suppliers that can be relied on by a multitude of businesses.

Once the ecosystem builds a reputation as a place to find reputable suppliers, it will gain a momentum of its own and become the benchmark that all small business will aim for.
